Nice. Did you buy locally?

You know, Roy Munson has two chances to win this tournament now...slim and none...and slim may have just left town.

Re: Just bought one of these

Great set brother, you can't go wrong with quality tools.

I always have a 6mm Park Tool allen key on me while riding.

I pieced my Park Tool kit together with bits and pieces.

Enjoy it bro!!!  cool

Re: Just bought one of these

Nice. I regret selling the tools I bought in 1990 while working at a shop. I've been slowly putting my set back together. I wear my Park hat, T-shirts, socks, and work shirts all the time. I wonder if people think I work for Park Tool sometimes!

I just picked up 19 and 23MM cone wrenches for my kid's 18" bike. has 14mm axles and I need cone wrenches that size for the front wheel. Tomorrow, I hope to have him change out his cranks and sprocket to the 25t spline drive Profile I picked up here, and the 165mm Madera graffiti cranks I got locally. I plan on having him do a lot of it.

Not Park, but I picked up these for him a while ago (yes, there was a thread about it:

Re: Just bought one of these

To add to those tools, you can never go wrong with a good set of t-handle allen wrenches as well. Even if it's only the 6-5-4mm. Sometimes the y-tools are difficult to get leverage with. I bought Pedro's brand and have had no issues.

Re: Just bought one of these

Park tools are of course the best, they last forever.  Unfortunately, they are slowly starting to go the way of "Made in China" and "Made in Taiwan" on more and more of their tools.  I really hope that trend does not expand.

Me too. Working in many bike shops over the years I aquired some free tools and bought many on the cheap. Over the years moving from house to house and lending some tools out, a few have gone missing. My Hozan headset wrenches are long gone as are some Campagnolo cone wrenches. mad

The only drawback is I have to fix all my friend's bikes all the time but I don't really mind. It is a good excuse to hang in the garage with a friend and down a few beers.
