1977 Peddlepower survivor


Drive side crank arm and rear hub shoulder are engraved "Steve Johnson."

Peddlepower frame and fork
Araya 7B's with Shimano high flange hubs
Cheng Shin 2.125 tires
VDC fluted bars and seat post with Schwinn seat clamp
DiaCompe caliper and lever
MCS stem
Sugino cranks with DID chain
KKT Rat Trap pedals
Seamless YFC seat

I handle sales and marketing at True Torch. We have almost 40 years experience fabricating BMX bikes. We do custom builds and repairs but our overhead is not paid via BMX.
Personally, I'm a total Peddlepower and early Powerlite junkie. Always looking for '83 and older

Brent Brent Brent....Steve Johnson had Nothing to do with peddlepower in any way.... Steves parents had a machine shop that we used etc... i could almost gaurantee that this bike is not steve johnsons bike ... The original RINK RAIDER the two top bar frame that my dad designed (acknowleged by steve johnson ) He thanked my dad in his speech this year at HOF for designing the two bar which became torker... So when this single bar frame which is a peddlepower would be around the same time he was making the torker frames? so wouldnt he be riding around on his own frames? Just my opinion lol

Yes Mark. You are absolutely right. And there's an Arizona bike shops tag on it which pretty much says no way was it the Steve Johnson's bike.

Wow! I saw one of these new in the bike store when I was 9 years old. I had never seen anything like it. I begged my mom for it, but to no avail.   sad
