I didn't say that. I've been on a couple rides in NYC this year with a small group of riders, but Marcus and Tony allways have the popular one.

Re: NYC in July
I always saw bicycle stuff years and years ago at the old car swap meets at Suffolk Meadows. I am a firm believer that old cars and vintage bikes go hand in hand. Think about it, if someone goes to a car swap meet, more than likely they have at least a few hundred in their pocket to buy an intake, carb, etc. But if they see a bike or bike part they have been looking for...well...the rest could be history!
Wanted- White Industries Freewhee 19T and 20T, Mongoose Stainless Steel bars for a Moosegoose, and Big Gulp bars- because I think they look goofy enough to cruise with!

Re: NYC in July
I'd go for doing a full NYC ride.
Who will step up (that lives up there) to be the parade leader?
We can always meet at that same spot, or even better on the JC side, and overload a PATH train to then ride around the city, and maybe over a few bridges if it isn't 100F. It wouldn't be a overly fast pace, or overly slow.. Only stops would be bathrooms and points of interest.
I'm sorry I don't kiss a$$.
black and chrome parts, the way bikes should always be.

Re: NYC in July
I just may have issues bringing my own bike after June 30th. Local NJ trains just changed some rules again. The rule of no bikes getting on or off at platforms, was lifted, but it compromised to....
...The board also approved new time restrictions on weekends for trains that operate to and from Penn Station New York. Trains that arrive in New York between 9 and 12 AM and depart New York between 5 and 8 PM will be off-limits to passengers with standard frame bicycles. Given the limited SEPTA service connections to the Northeast Corridor on weekends, the new rules effectively puts a straight-jacket on weekend day trips to central NJ and NYC. Only one early AM Train which departs Market East Station at 5:40 AM will have connecting bike service to Manhattan.
I'll see how much BS this adds in July. The site also said the River line is effected too, and it didn't go into what is going on with the PATH train, since that train actually is always packed, I would believe it if bikes were off limits during rush times on the weekends. Did I say I hate this country yet?
