First off guys and girls...PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BIKE STANDS!!!!!

After thinking this over...talking to a few other members and sorting this out to were WE believe it will make everyone happy....here are the categories for the show. If you not happy with them or just want to throw your opinion at me, please PM me. There is no need to leave nasty, worthless, complaining comments on here....Please post what category # and # of bikes you will be entering in, to assure that we will have enough hang tags to hand out. The judges bikes will be handled like last year, they will line them up and we will vote for the BEST BIKE.

BRING YOUR BIKES...BRING A POSITIVE ATTITUDE AND COME HUNGRY...HUNGRY FOR FOOD AND HUNGRY TO SEE SOME OF THE NICEST BIKES ON THE PLANET!!!

So far the Judges (These guys have been picked/asked to judge due to their vast knowledge and are here to accommodate every kind of bike, year, model, and function/purpose. These guys have been picked to help with judging not only on originality but also fully restored bikes)

Judges to be announced!

RACE:

#1 Pre 80
#2 80-87
#3 88-95
#4 96 to today

Freestyle:

#5 82-87
#6 88-95
#7 96 and up

Cruiser:

#8 Threaded headsets
#9 Threadless headsets

BEST OF SHOW will be voted from all registered bikes there and will be separated into 4 awards!

I know there has been some questions re the Judges......I am MORE than happy with last years panel of Judges and have asked them to return. I have asked a few new ones on board to round out the staff, and some of last years will or will not be returning to Judge , based on if they are willing and able. I know many people questioned some of our choices last year, but I think we were totally fair in the awarding.

As far as a "Custom Class", Bikes will be Judged in their respective categories....look at last Year's Cruiser winner....1979 has a SICK new school 24" that was customized, and that won. I felt bad since there were many awesome old school 24"s that didnt win, so this year there are two Cruiser classes, but his Cruiser deserved the win last year.

I am a Old School racer/rider that is more into riding and collecting New School, but I always love and respect the Old School. Since day 1 I have wanted this Show to be about FUN and NOT like other BMX Shows where people build some over the top bike with ultra rare parts just for the show, then they part them out weeks later. Bikes will be judged fairly and NOT based on just high dollar builds

PLEASE! Make sure to go to the NEW BBQ FOOD Donation thread http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=429803 and pick something to bring and Please offer even 1/2 Hour of the Day as a Volunteer for Cooking OR Clean Up so that everyone gets a chance to check everything out instead of being stuck cooking all Day like some members did last year

Bump! keep those registrations coming in!!!

Categories will stay the same....after a few PM's from members on the 96 to today being too large of a jump in years, we are trying to accommodate everyone in the show and also, trophies and awards cost money to have anymore categories.

remember to bring your A game bikes!!!!
