Here's my 97 Dyno Slammer w/ Pacman forks. My first mid-school ride... this bike is single handedly turning me from old school to mid-school. I'm a few days away from swapping out some parts. Adding a set of Peregrine 48's with nankai 9t cassette hub w/ 39T sprocket, RL 3PC... just gotta score some 9/16 pedals.

i have that same bike, the one on ebay though he took the original tires off it and original mags off it. when i bought mine in 1994 it cost me 300 something i think 350$

i just bought this one off craigslist, its a 96 dyno air with obvious adjustments

all 4 of my bikes stacked together

my 1993 dyno air have had it since a kid, this is all original parts, after this pic i had to put white tires on it because the others were dry rotting. also changed the seat for longer rides. changed chain to i rode one day in the rain and it rusted

middle bike is my 87 dyno compe im going to restore. the parts on it are just spare junk parts to move it around and display.

im on my laptop so these are the only pics i have, ill get some better quality ones up sometime

I have 2 Compes that I will add today. They are for the next build off. A 1985 D-30 and another 1986 Compe.

He'll I will show you guys the 1987 black Detour that was 95+ % down to the GT tires. This thread keep my heart pumping Josh

Hello my Dyno brothers! Had a great weekend and wanted to share.

Took my son this weekend to Ocean City, MD for the Dew Tour. 1st year they had a flatland competition. Got to meet Terry Adams and Matt Wilhelm. Hell of a great bunch of guys. Sat our chairs on the beach right in front of the stage. Anyhow, enjoy these few pics. Reminds us of what BMX freestyle is all about!

Oh yeah! Matthias Dandois won 1st place!

Especially since he does it all WITHOUT BRAKES! Next year I'm gonna take my restored PC down to the tour and ride the boardwalk. Not a single old school bike around at the Dew Tour. Made me sad! - lol

Agreed. Sunday bikes are pretty cool. Mongoose was actually showcasing a neon orange $109.00 Wal-Mart bike at the Dew Tour. I was impressed. Mongoose has re-invented themselves. Wal-mart new school bikes from $109.00 - $149.00. $149.00's with nice 3 piece cranks! Next thing you know every little kid out there is gonna be riding a neon orange bike to school! Why! - lol

I wish Dyno would re-invent themselves as well!

Just fishing ... but if anyone out there has a 1986 Compe or Compe II frame and would like to trade for a 1987 Detour frame let me know. I have 2 to choose from. They need restored of course. I'd just rather restore a Compe II than 2 more Detours. PM if interested.

I agree. I wish Dyno would reinvent themselves. At least make a nice solid frame and fork at a good price. Then kids can add-on the parts they like. I heard there are Dyno's being sold up here in Canada in the big name box stores. I haven't seen any?!?

That was a long day Welll here were my 3 Dyno bikes. Just sold the 87 black Detour and the 86 chrome Compe. Just have the white 85 D-30 Compe that is almost done.

Still want to build another. Either a Compe 2 or PC. We will see. Thanks for looking, Josh
