So i got a new bike.........
I grew up racing Torker's,been after one of these for about 3 year's now.Got this from nvmyslowride and im stoked to be it's new owner!!1995 SE made in the USA Torker Pro Cruiser,almost completely stock,chain was put on by Nick.I recieved it last night,my daughter called me at work to tell me...Dad,your new old bike is here......
Anyway,I bought it to build a new race bike for this year,our track open's this Thursday.I have already stripped it of all the stock Torker part's and hid them away,keeping every one!!Here are some pic's of it how i recieved it.A big Thank you to Nick,also known as nvmyslowride for parting with it.....took me over 2 year's to get him to sell it to me,but he finally gave in and agreed.I have it almost ready for the track,will post some after pic's in a bit.Enjoy!!!

Like i said before,I bought this to build a race bike for this season,when the snow fly's i will rebuild it to stock form and keep riding it.I saved every stock part,right down to the brake cable.....
This is what has been done,Profile crank's and seatpost clamp,Crupi bar's,tensioner's and pedal's,Snap stem and chainring,Chris King headset,odi grip's,Generic seatpost,Selle carbon seat,Bombshell carbon fork's,Oddy A brake's,Sun rhyno lite's in chrome with Crupi pro36 cassette hub's..Love these hub's!!!!Sram pc 850 chain,Chill pill's valvestem cover's.The brake lever is a Shimano dxr with cable,still in the mail.Every part was purchased from fine member's of the Museum!!!It went on a serious diet....
Gonna be ready to race this Thursday and i couldnt be happier.......

Holy crap that came out super sick!!!!! I am glad you like it and sorry about the delay.. Guys the story behind the bike is I got it from the OG owner. he was a friend of mine who had cancer. He gave me the bike as for he knew I wanted one. But he told me if I ever wanted to sell it to apply it towards my Midwest bmx donation program. So yes it took me a long time to sell it, but I needed to come up with the funds to build the Rick allison bike. So since that bike came from my program it was a good trade. My buddy past away, and his wife gave me blessing so I sold it to a great home. I feel better know that i see where it went!! So Thank you to my buddy brian for giving me this bike, to build Rick a Custom bike, its a gift from one guy to another, who gave the gift of buying this to build that, confused? me too!!!!!!!

Torkers were one of those cool bikes of the eighties. Once I had a bike (circa 1983) that had two tubes on top like a Torker, but they were straight from the headtube to the rear dropouts. It didn't have any decals and none of my friends knew what it was either. Anyone here know? It did have about 13-15 inch seat tube that rose between 4 and 5 inches above the two top tubes.
Just saw a pic of the bike mentioned above. It was an R&R.

Swapped out the bar's for a chrome set of S&M 5.75 race bar's and put a 41 tooth FSA chainwheel on it...Oh,Changed out the pedal's for a silver set of Wellgo MG-1's.Got it dialed and ready to rip!!!Thank's to all you crazy cat's for the prop's on it!!!I think im gonna like it on the track......
