Need ANYTHING on a mid 80's Stinger Aero
I am looking for ANY info regarding a BMX I had when I was around 12 years old back in the 80's.
Here is what I can remember:
Name: Stinger Aero
Description (best of my knowledge): White frame with black mags.
Black handlebar pads and black pads on frame.
Green writing on frame.
Year: either 84 or 85..
This is all I can remember. The site was bought by my parents from a catalogue in which you get the item, but pay it up in instalments.
Everything I come across regarding this bike points to the red one and not the black mag one.
I would dearly love to rebuild this stunning looking bike for my son and for my own enjoyment.
I am looking for absolutely ANY info, pics etc regarding this bike.
This is the only pic I have found on it

Hmmm not quite. Doesn't have that extra supporting piece on the inside and mine was oval shaped. Thanks though.
Seems to be THE most obscure BMX known to man. Theres literally no pics of it and only two people have even mentioned it across the web!
Everything points to the red one. Im not sure if I got a early version. I've compared the frames of the red version and I think they're the same frame, so might have to go with that and put new decals on.

Its almost identical. You think the frame on the red one is the exact one used on my stinger aero? If so, I might just see if I can pick up a red one and use that.

It does appear to be the same bike and the earlier ones were black and white

Someone listed one on ebay last week. Got some much better pics of it now.
Funny. Its way uglier than I remember it being all those years ago lol.
Wish I could see what the writing on the back decals says.

cheaper bmx's sold in Halfords bike & car shops - looks good but cheaper parts
