2005/2006 Schwinn Sting Pro XL
This bike is built off of the 2005/2006 Schwinn Sting Pro XL F/F. Built up by Staats Bike Shop in Sandy, UT.
Fly Pro bars, Lizard Skin Bubba Harris grips. Tecktro V-brake. Ahead Headset. SDG Ibeam Seat/Post. Ciari Pro stem. Front Wheel is a Sun Ringle. Rear Wheel is Ciari. Maxxis Holy Roller Tires. ACS Claw freewheel. Fly 3-pc. cranks/euro BB. FSA Hucker 44T Chainwheel. Wellgo Platform Pedals. KMC Chain.

cranks are 175s.
i happened on this bike by accident. i was checking out the Staats shop and it was sitting on the floor, all built up as it is now--except the number plate--for an AMAZING price so i bought it... and later learned how lucky i am that i got it for the price that i did. ![]()
i've been racing it since oct '07.

thanks! the chainwheel is an FSA Hucker--did you do a double-take when you read that the first time too?
There's a guy at the track with the same chainwheel on his SE. I've seen a couple on eBay. And Bikewagon (on eBay) gets FSA stuff in so they could end up with one...

I just picked up a Staats frame so I'm debating whether I sould steal from this one to build that up... but I really like the way this Sting looks.
