1981 Nissan Skywagen

BMX by Nissan.

It appears Nissan got hold of some left over Redline frames. This is also the same with the Matsuri and Nishiki.

NOS Ukai rims
NOS Suntour hubs, cassette rear hub
Kenda skinwall tires
Redline forklifter bars, AME cam cam grips
Suntour stem
Diacompe 890 brake set , MX 122 levers
Diacompe cables
Kashimax aero seat
Suntour seatpost clamp

What countries were these bikes marketed in? I never heard of one in North America.

They should have named it "Skyline" instead, would have had a nice tie-in to their best car.

Interesting, So this is a redline frame the company bought and put there own name on it? I see that a lot in todays appliances. Made by one sold by many. Cool bike regardless.
