1989 GT Aggressor

My dream bike and rider.

I was very fortunate to own one of the first GT Aggressors ever made. It was given to me by Gary Turner after we built up one for him while working at Huntington Beach Bicycles. It has been a 20 year dream to rebuild and ride this bike, which is finally come to fruition.

The decals on this are a custom combination of the test bike in BMX Plus, June 1989 and what was going on the PFT in 89. I created the AGGRESSOR letters and combined them with the PFT artwork for what I think they may have looked like on these early models.
Frame; 89 GT Aggressor with OG Bash Plate Fork; GT PFT (rechrome) Tires; Fit 1.95 tires Rims; Araya Super 7x 32h Hubs; GT Sealed 2nd Gen Bars; GT Circle Stamp Stem; GT Pro Series w/ Thru Bolt Grips; A'me MTB Levers; DiaCompe Tech77 (repro) Brakes F; Nippon (repro) Brakes R; Odyssey Pitbull Seat; GT Post; GT Circle Stamp Clamp; GT Cranks; GT Power Series Disc; GT Chainring; Porkchop (temporary) Pedals; Odyssey Sealed

Re: 1989 GT Aggressor

Sweet build! That means a lot coming from me too because even though I'm a GT guy I never really was into the aggressors...or those 89 decals. I'm starting to like the aggressors more though and I bet that's a rare one! Had a chance to grab a 91 a while back and now I'm regretting it.
