1979 Team Murray 340

Nearly completed old school ride!!!

Many thanks to 2dr_sedan for selling me this sweet Murray! I found the correct Motomag wheels for it and only need a set of Carlisle Aggressor 20" x 1.75" tires to complete. I'm sure someone pulled the original Motomags off for a Mongoose or other bike of the era. I have the 1979 Murray catalog and these are correct for this ride. The reflectors are Stimsonite 83's, 81's would be correct but I can live with that.

Just picked up a Track Certified Team 78/79.Only minus Rims and Rubber...How stoked am i..Yours is nice transport man..mines in its original Chromey overcoat and all im addin is wheels and sayin "Survivor Model" Do we do Pads and Plate to complete ..and if so are they the 300/340 ones bein offerred as repo and nos in here and on Evil Bay to match your plate..cheers agin Kev.

Thats the first bike I ever rode I mean even on training wheels in 1984 I got it and I had it til 90 very cool to see one I wasnt sure what year it was now I know what to look for! Very nice job by the way looks better then new!

So Cool, that was my first bike that I got from the fat man himself...heres a pic of it sitting in front of the tree christmas morning. Love to have this bad boy again....of course...being my first bike that I loved...it got stolen.
