1979 Schwinn Scrambler 36-36
1979 Schwinn Scrambler 36-36
I bought this bike from nbl78s. I then restored it.
The same model & color I bought with my own money in 1979 in the 7th grade. My first "real" BMX bike.
All parts are original to that model as it rolled out of the shop (except chain)

Wow!!! ![]()
That thing is awesome!!! ![]()
When you compute the length of time between the "EVENT" and "THE NOSTALGIA FOR THE EVENT", the span seems to be about a year less in every cycle.
Eventually the nostalgia cycles will be so close together that people will not be able to take a step without being nostalgic for the one they just took.
At that point, everything stops. DEATH BY NOSTALGIA. Frank Zappa
