Rusty RL 20II score help!!
I drove from Va up to Pa yesterday to pick up a CL score of this rusty redline and a hutch pro racer. I need to clean up the rust and wonder what the best method would be for this one? I am thinking OA bath or vinegar. It is just too much to rub it all off with polish. Comments??
Too much junk? What does that mean?

put the F/F in citric acid will remove all rust in 48hrs

your haro was not rusted down to steel.
cap, vinegar, etc. will get rid of the rust but wont save that bike. its ate up too much.
no chrome is left to save.
paint or powder it white.

before stripping the chrome try to clean the rust off first, you never know how its going to come out.
after stripping it i would use pedro's bike lust to polish the chrome!

Nice pick up. Those bikes are So rusty that most likely the chrome is shot. So both bikes would need a full restore unless you were just to clean the rust off and build them as riders.. Either way cool score..
