Nice Raleigh hand-me-down
My wife's cousin was the original owner of this bike and he bought it new. He gave this bike to my son to ride a few years ago. He has been riding it for the past few years but has now outgrown it. My wife's cousin doesn't want the bike back so I started doing a little research on it and came across this website. VERY NICE! I have spent an hour on the site everyday since then. I raced BMX for a few years back in the early 80's but have been away from it for far too long. We rode mostly GT, Hutch, and Redline so I knew very little about this Raleigh. I am still somewhat unsure of the age but I have seen another R2000 posted on this sight by "soldmine" that looks identical to mine so I'm assuming it is a 1982. Any additional info/comments about it would be greatly appreciated. Thx

I had one back then and I wanna say your correct on it being an 82. Ive been looking for one of these in the for sale section forever... lol! You got a nice score there. Its in great shape considering the year. Have fun w/ it.
