You've done an excellent job building this up, you have to ride it so people can admire it.

Very nice job!  I would ride it personally, but I can understand why people build bikes for show only.

Re: 2007 Kuwahara KZ-1R

Hi,

Very nice!smile

I'm from the UK and have just purchased one of these F&F. Could you help me, I know you have used CW Win Straight Handlerbars, what is the rise and width of these bars. I too would need a straight bar as I have a padset for this. Do you know of any alternatives I could use, as I dont want to use anything that would look out of place, too big or small.hmm

For any one wanting one of these F&F in the USA or Australia where they have sold out. Check out some of the main UK internet dealers there is about half a dozen left. Just type Kuwahara Limited Edition into your search engine for the UK and it will list a few shops. Prices are about £170 plus delivery.smile

Kind Regards

Er, the rear dropouts are different, and the forks are different, from original KZ1/KZ2's

Don't quote "facts" unless you have info to back it up. Assumption starts with those three letters for a reason....

Nice choice of colour to go with the chrome.  I like the Kuwahara detail on the new KZ brake bridge.  The new ARX/Aero style chrome forks are nice too.  very shiney!! cool

Dude,

I am not a race guy, but that bike is sick. Actually, your whole collection is great.

Re: 2007 Kuwahara KZ-1R

nice repro! the top and down tube do seem a minimum tad thicker, and the gusset looks a little different, but that would be nitpicking. ride it! riding bikes does not harm them, it gives them life. abstain from grinding though, that will kill most bikes. Most technological advances in modern bmx fs bikes have come solely from looking to an answer to grinding. from thick drops, to super tanks, to small sprockets, to  cassettes, to left side drive trains, to 14mm axles, to bombproof tires. And basically, you can do most modern aerial tricks, theoretically on this KZ-1, but as soon as you try grinding, things will happen lol. I am advocate for smooth riding.
