I took about 15 lbs of shit off it....including the stickers. Hes jumping a ramp with it now. Took the training wheels off two months before his fourth birthday. Hes 4 yrs 3 months now. The Cult 16 is gonna be his next......sorry to jack your thread. Proud Dad, cant help myself.

Its fine. Look in my bikes,my son was riding at 3 also,now 5 going on 6,he rides his goose,and races his free agent.

Just got my first Hawk. A Robinson was the bike I had when I was a kid and a Hawk was the bike I always wanted as a kid. Now I have both. I'm a very happy guy.
I got 99 problems.........but a purple bike ain't one.

My early hawks take a 7/8 seat post, and threaded forks, as for Franken builds I think is because hawk only made frames and forks and some bars I think, the forks weren't very reliable, so most hawks bitd were almost always,all custom builds with the best possible parts that could be bought at that time,

This bike does not have hawk forks. They are stroker forks from the late 70s. I had the exact same ones.
On the look out for Bonzai frames, Cardboard Lords Emanicaptor/Liberator frames, Hawk frames, and anything BRAND X!!!
