1980 Akisu Coca Cola Promo
1980 Akisu Coca Cola Promo
NOS!
The original owner stated he worked for the Coca Cola Company in Atlanta for 30 + years. His second year there, he entered a company raffle for $1 and won this bike.
He stored the bike unassembled and in its original box. I happened to be working in Atlanta earlier this year and was browsing the local craigslist ads. I found the for sale ad and immediately contacted the seller. He agreed to drop it off where i was working since I didn't have transportation to go pick the bike up.
Me and the bike made it home safely and I assembled it with my good friends Jimmy and Paul. I didn't like the chain gaurd or the reflectors so I left them off.
Other than a 1/4" scratch on the underside of the down tube, the bike is perfect!! Score!!!

Re: 1980 Akisu Coca Cola Promo
I had never seen one pre 80's as well. The original owner was adament about the year he won the bike. I haven't found any additional info to confirm or deny. If anyone finds any "dating" info, please feel free to share. Im glad to see that everyone enjoys the bike as much as I do!
