1980 Mongoose Motomag

Custom, store/catalog option Mongoose

Here we have a local purchase and a partial trade. The bike is "as is" with only a minor cleaning and a tune up.
This an early restoration and the frame has been re-painted and re-stickered with early re-popped stickers.

The following installed components are:
Frame: Mongoose, frame
Forks: Tange
Cranks: Tourney 3 piece
Sprocket: 44T
BB Hardware: unstamped
Pedals: MKS
Headset: Mongoose stamped
Goose neck: unstamped Pro Neck
Handle bars: Race Inc.
Hand brake: Shimano
Brake Caliper: Shimano, tourney
Brake cable clamps: Shimano
Pads: Unmarked, leather
Grips: Ame, cam grips
Seat post: Fluted aluminum, unstamped
Seat clamp: Cycle pro
Seat: Mongoose tagged, messinger
Wheels: Skyway F&R metal flange mags(unstamped) w/freewheel
Tires: Competition III, gum walls, 20 x 2.25 front / 20 x 1.75 rear
