Derek is ok it was a low speed crash. Just some road rash on bars, brake leaver, seat, pedals and grips. I'm going to polish the bars and pedal cages today. My wife bought new bar ends and is ordering me new Ame grips.

I've had a bad couple of weeks with my JMC mini. My son crashed it on the street and I had to re-shape and re-polish the pedal cages, re-polish my Maxy cranks and Turf Neck chainring. The Powerlite bars and a'me grips were toast so I found another set of Powerlite bars and hand sand them starting with 320,500,1000,1500 grit paper then wet sanding with 2000. It's a dirty job,but it must be done. Then I buff with compound and finally polish to a mirrored finish. I did that process on the bars, cranks, pedal bodies and cages on the JMC two times. I had four bikes in my truck this morning and last was my mini JMC. I have it in the truck leaning on another bike as I turn to pick up a tie down the JMC falls to the cold morning concrete and bounces. I go into a rage yelling the C word that ends in UNT! I wanted to beat someones head into the ground. That's how much anger I had right after it happen. Good for me and some random person it was 6am. I went for a long walk and just got back to my shop. I just want to say sorry to all of you I was going to meet up with at the show... JMC was my local bike builder and I grew up down the street from Covina Valley BMX track. I wanted a JMC DY as a kid and got to meet DY at Azusa track once. That dude was awesome. I wanted to represent a 84 JMC mini that was still racing and that looked good. It's not a show bike, but its a racer. I think to many sleepless nights and hard work got the best of me. SORRY BRO'S FOR LETTING ALL OF YOU DOWN. I was so excited to see the bikes and meet you guys...

I agree bird-dog. My newborn child could have fallen out of the back of the truck on my way there and I probably would have kept going.

There was a LOT of insane bikes there! It was a very cool show and a great turn out. I didn't get there til around 1:30-2:00 Wish I could have had more time to spend there.

Such a good time today (and last night despite the catastrophic driveline failure). Met a bunch of great people, saw a few old friends. Matt, sorry we didn't get to spend more time together. Never enough time with the Chromey. Special thanks to Pat and Leo for the last bits to finish off the Profile, and to David L and Mario V for showing a couple of random east coasters so much love.
