Opinions needed for classes....

Should I do freestyle and race or......

Painted and Cano'd?

With most bikes probably being built so far from factory specs,im not sure naming them freestyle or race will matter.

So I was thinking of breaking it into painted for non chrome builds,and cano'd for the chrome/alum builds. Raw,and or polished will fit in this class,but u must do the work. As in strip the og paint,polishing,and/or clearing also.

Opinions?

id say factory painted bikes in one deal and sprayed and cano'd in another

I dont think we should make it complicated.
Keep it to race and freestyle.... Freestyle(flatland/park, i.e. pegs and crap to stand on), Race(dirt/track, i.e. single brake and no pegs). And just make it that the frame and fork or frame and one other item has to be spraypainted or cano'd.

well in process right now doing my own thing with my 96 GT interceptor, neon stickers I had made, pure white frame w/ glitter effects in paint,
and I just got finished with a HARo group 1 RSI for the wife, removed the tectro studs and the bullet looking thing at top behind seat to make it all smooth and added a clamp style brake instead, watermelon pink w/ glitter effects in paint:D, ride-able an all...

I like this idea, I've got a couple old Stingray frames and a chrome frame I have yet to identify sitting in the shed begging for a low budget builds, just need to pick one out to use.

Update:
Between now and saturday,Im going to be getting the official rules together,etc. Im also going to be sorting out prizes,incase I find a way to supply some. Im also going to check on a sponsor or 2.

So if u have any kind of suggestions,prize ideas,etc....please post them now. So I can take them into consideration before the official thread goes up.

Also,if u have anything u want to donate prize wise,please p/m me.

I say everyone who enters should donate a part for a build and we create a frankenstein bike for the winner and send the extra parts to 2nd and third place.

Just a thought..... I have an 85 RL 500a frame I could part with if we decide to do something like that.

I'll donate two of the Haro-ish keychains I had made. I had a few left over and am no longer allowed to sell them on here. But nobody said anything about giving them away!!!

So, the winner of each category will receive one of these:

I'd also be willing to donate a random part to the frankenbike for the big winner.

I like the sounds of this, I just started to strip one of my frames last night..
Just a question, If my bike was previously built, but I just took it apart to change the color and switch out a few parts. would I still be eligible to enter?

Love the idea,only issue is there is 2 classes. Unless we take the two 1st place winners,and let people vote.

Yes,aslong as color is changed.

Well im sure one bike will still get more votes than any other
And if not maybe we will have enough parts to make two depending on how many ppl enter and if they are in on the idea.
