I have a quick question...Not trying to be a jerk as you can build what you want how you want... but you do know that the B2s didn't come out till 1983 right? Oakley 2s look alike and would be era correct. Now if you don't care about era correct then do it up. Was just wondering. That and being a 85 Haro Master guy I am instantly attracted to a set of NOS B2s like a moth to a flame. So I think you should send them to me.
Either way nice grips. I love Oakleys.

The color of the frame set will be white, with blue parts. Era correct does not matter to me. its around the ballpark, thats good enough. I also have a NOS set of silver araya 7B's with NOS Suntour sealed bearing hubs in ano blue gonna go on. Also a NOS Shimano DX seat post gonna Hold the NOS blue kasimax seat down. To keep the dx post in place I have a NOS ano blue suntour seat post clamp. To keep the NOS se power wing chrome bars in place I will put the NOS ano blue tuf neck stem on. List goes on with the parts I have for this build. After I put air in the tires, I will put on a set of NOS Blue with white print ABA valve caps.

These are for my jmc dy build up. Yup the bars are NOS still has the warranty card

And here is the frame set right before it gets sent out. The Vector markII will be built up also this year. I have a NOS sticket set for it.

Thats a lot of NOS! Sounds like a cool build. Be sure and post more pics!

yeah bud can you keep us updated with pics on the quad. i've got a white and blue 84 quad but want to change the white f & f, but not sure what colour yet

I love these grips, but they're ridiculously overpriced. I'm not paying $150 for rubber grips, no matter how rare they are. Hopefully I'll find them for a sane price one day.

Good luck with the build. Sounds like its going to be awesome.

Been looking for a pair of those for months for a few Haro builds that need them, they just dont grow on trees anymore.

Exactly. That's why I posted my post earlier. I wasn't trying to be hater, I was pointing out that if he wasn't dead set on using B-2s he could substitute another Oakley grip and still be era correct. However it sounds like those are exactly what he wants so I say build it! You are right though they aren't easy to find.
