Pink and blue "Barbie" GT performer Please let me know what ya! think

Hello I am building this bike for my 21 year old daughter. It has been 3 -4 years to get it this far. I would like to know what ya! think? If you like color matching bikes please take a look at my other bike's here on the museum. Enjoy -CadillacCowboy
I really need a pair of GT pink frame standers. If ya got some, let me know. http://i1255.photobucket.com/albums/hh621/cadillaccowboy/gt2252012BobDarnell022.jpghttp://i1255.photobucket.com/albums/hh621/cadillaccowboy/gt2252012BobDarnell010.jpg

I like honesty, thank you. Some might like it, some might not. It is just a one time project and it will be kept in the family for years to come.
I have tried to match the factory decal's. Gt factory hawaiian blue frame's had decal's with pink in them. The 1986 factory decals on this frame are dark blue, white, lavender and pink.
The pink parts have been very hard to color match. The GT pink is more like pink magenta. I am so glad this project is almost done, I am so sick of trying to find the right color of pink parts. No more pink for me, Well I better not say that because I could end up blessed with 2 granddaughters? Respectfully -CadillacCowboy

Bubble gum pink and light blue usually need white to set it off...

Besides, she's 21 and would rather have a new car, right?

3 things:
1. I like it alot.
2. What is that blue mass tucked behind the rear brake behind the seat stays and seat tube?
3. Is that Floval Flyer in the background rocking a Kastan fork?

Do I owe you feedback? Please remind me via PM and I'll take care of it.

Looks Cool!  If She Is Going To Ride On Grass All The Time That's Cool, But Those Tires Get Flat So Easy In Other Terrains... sad

Re: Pink and blue "Barbie" GT performer Please let me know what ya! think

Wow thank you all of you for your replies.check this out. GT pink is called magenta however others call it pink, when you are talking GT freestyle. I think GT went with a more of a darker pink because they did not want a girly color? Catering more to your 80's neon wearing fast times at Ridge-mount high California teens.
The other name is Pepto pink or bubble gum pink. However the nick name for the pink pool tires on the GT are called "Barbie lip stick pink". That is why I have nick named the bike Barbie.
I have found two different color of pink Tioga parts. Bubble gum pink(the sprocket spider) & magenta pink(the seat post clamp).
I think that early GT might have been the lighter pink like 85 and older models? Maybe Tioga did not now of the GT color change? Maybe they changed to a darker pink magenta in late 86-87?
Here is what I have seen so far. 4 colors of pink. Tioga bubble gum and magenta, Factory GT magenta, & Odyssey pink-magenta. Odyssey Pink is more of a megenta pink. I have spent way to much money and time doing this. I’m at the point where I want out of this project. But you cant give up. I keep telling myself your almost done. Wrong! Well I am glad you enjoy it. It helps my frustration and makes me dig it all over again. Cheers -C*C

GT had pink and magenta, two different colors. they had the baby pink up to 86 then stared using the magenta in 87 which was more of a red/pink

86 baby pink, also used in earlier years
http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e90/DemonGT410/86performer001.jpg

87/88/89 magenta
http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e90/DemonGT410/magenta004.jpg

the seat post in the middle is actually a NOS 88 magenta post so you can see the frame/fork is faded some.
