1980 SE Racing OM Flyer 26
Om flyer just out of storage for the first time. New condition
1980 Om flyer. The guy i bought it from says it is a 1979 om. He bought it in 1979 new. It has the 2 gen chain stays so i figure its a 1980. He collected bikes back then and bought 2 om flyers and long story short he never rode this one until this year for the first time. His first ride on this bike was just before we got there to check it out. I heard about this guy wanting to sell his collection because of money troubles and my friend and i scored on a couple of great deals.
He assembled the bike with cw bars and redline brute stem and the leather seat to ride it.
I added the kashimax seat. It has a Redline brute stem, unstamped landing gear, araya 7x rims with sunshine hub on the rear and a acs hub on front. The tires are mitsuboshi 26x1.75 made in japan with no other markings. cranks are suntour vx , Regina chain in copper, shimano pedals, dia compe front and rear calipers dia compe levers, tuf neck seat post clamp. se seat post. It does have some small scratches and scuffs, Drop outs are perfect.
