Im going to be pissed for the hour and a half of my life I wasted watching, "Rad". Even for the 80's that movie is horrific. Jesus guys.

102 seems to be a theme. Thats exactly the budget for the film. $102 bucks!

Both "RAD" and "BMX Bandits" would have been ideal for Mystery Science Theater 3000 episodes.

i tried watching it for the first time in 20 years a few months ago. i had to stop it within 10 minutes. corny as hell IMO.

Rad is good because it is so bad. It's funny watching these shittty old movies. Sometimes borderline unbearable, but funny none the less. I just watched Ishtar the other day, with Dustin Hoffman and Warren Beatty. Quite possibly the worst movie ever made, but it still made me laugh because it was so horrible.

Maybe I'll watch Gleaming the Cube this afternoon. Christian Slater sucks.

No one said it was Oscar worthy. We just like it for the Helltrack and opening scenes. Now had there been another dozen movies out there at that time that involved BMX and Freestyle we may not have had so much nostalgia for it.

I've seen way worse. Have you seen Surf nazis Must Die! ?

BMX Bandits was the first movie that I saw with Nicole Kidman in it,but at least it was better than Days of Thunder,which was the second movie with her in it that I saw. I wished that I could have gotten my money back after seeing Days of Thunder,that movie truly sucked.

WHAT!! rad got an oscar--best dance scene on a bike-- corny, yes--but if u love bmx its part of the history-a must see..

Hey now, days of thunder was not a bad movie, it kicked a$$ IMO. I wasn't even into nascar but I had a mellow yellow matchbox car after watching that movie, and the sound of Nicole saying " Get in the car Cole" was just awsome with that accent of hers.
