Bought this bike about a month or so ago from Mikecs4life at this bmx museum.
Thanks to Mikecs4life and Jimmy Motocross from bmx museum to make this 1979 Kuwahara KE1 having a successful and smooth trip all the way from the states to Malaysia.This bike consists of :

Really nice bike, a real piece of history. 
Did you know the first Kuwahara never had the model name KE-1, you will never find any Kuwahara documentation calling these a KE-1, it was just refered to as the Kuwahara BMX. Just one of those crazy misinformation things that have spread throughout the museum that will never be corrected. Even Kuwahara's grandson has stated in interviews (and it's on their website) that the first Kuwahara BMX never ever had a model designation. None of the reviews, tests, catalogs, adverts or factory documentation refer to them as KE-1.

Oh wow....Gooser.....really......I never knew that....lol......looks like I'll have to rename it after all.....I'm new in this bmx collection....only started this craze in September 2011.Well....I do own a Kuwahara ET way back in 1983-1987 where I eventually sold it to my cousin who eventually lost it due to theft.

awesome bike! that was my 2nd good bmx... I bought mine in the end of 5th grade, same bike accept the drop out savers, even entered it in a photo contest that bmx plus ran, pets and bike. I had the white and blue, my buddy had the black and gold.

I had this same bike,my father bought it 1980 for $700.00 nothing but AWESOME!!! It was stolen in 1991, Would love to have another someday!!!

The original owner of this bike was a 12 year old girl. Her brothers robbed nearly every part off of it and swapped it with Huffy stuff!! I found it a mile from my house.
