Re: 1977 LRV

How do you know this is the Pro Size? I have the same frame here (same stamping on the gusset. Glad to see there is more than one chrome one around! Now I also know what kind of headtube decals it should have!

Cool frame for sure!

Re: 1977 LRV

I think it is a PRO because it has an American bottom bracket and is the size of many other PRO frames around this year. I also have a mini/jr size LRV that has the european size bottom bracket. And no they are not for sale at this time.

Re: 1977 LRV

Wow you dont see many LRV's. For those that dont know Chuck Robinson helped run the company before going on his own with Robinson. LRV went on for a bit without him, but soon faded away.

Re: 1977 LRV

I raced a white one and a chrome one after that in 77 and they were two of my favorite bikes, don't remember them ever referring to them as "pro size" though, they referred to them as full size and mini, the pro class was in its infancy in 77-78 and I don't recall of any company using that terminology as a reference to size that early on, damn nice frame and fork though, I have a mini (Gary Renteria) would love to have a full size like yours...hit me up if you ever decide to sell.
