Production Numbers JMC, Nomura etc.
What other companies did low production numbers on some of their models?
I know JMC produced 330'ish AP's and Nomura produced 310'ish 20" Aluminium Frames (even less cro-mo 20")
So besides the above, who else did small runs of bikes pre 1985?
Input welcomed....

Re: Production Numbers JMC, Nomura etc.
Hey Ben..... what about the "Sunshine" alloy frame, made out of Victoria..... huge 2" down tube with a "square back" style rear end and if my memory is correct "thruster" style rear drops.
I'm not sure of production numbers but they woud be less than 100, I've only ever seen 1 that a mate of mine had bitd. Its too bad the pic I have has no detail to it.
This is truly one of the rarest and lowest quantity Australian BMX frames ever made.

Re: Production Numbers JMC, Nomura etc.
ESP bikes they were titanium frame and fork for most part . early 80"s welded in texas , not sure how many built at beginning but my mini is the only 2nd one known on this site and the other mini doesnt have original fork and downtube snapped . it was rewelded and added a gusset , so mine is only known still intact original. but imagine asking mom and dad for a titanium race frame and fork in early 80's . you prolly could have bought a decent used car for what the frame set costed new
i'm sick of people lowballing and changing their mind after the details of item were given then asking for money off or refund . now all items are sold as is no returns ask all questions before dibbing .

Re: Production Numbers JMC, Nomura etc.
GJS starting 1983.
The Gen4 A-Frame based on SN was 100 or less.
The Gen5 A-Frame based on SN was 500 or less.
The Big Tube was probably 100 or less.
The Freestylers was probably 500 or less. Maybe 1000 or less.
The Gen1, 2 and 3 bikes all were in the 1000 quantity.

Re: Production Numbers JMC, Nomura etc.
Think your numbers might be a little bit out John, Reach BMX systems made less than 200 Direct Link's and less that 100 A.I.R frames.
Looking for Hawk gear, let me no what you got.

Re: Production Numbers JMC, Nomura etc.
I was told 200 F&F 250 just frames...i could be mistaken though. I also know that Direct Links were used as loaner bikes at Woodward. I have a Woodward program/magazine and I see pics of ALOT of racers using them on the test tracks. I will have to dig around and find it!
