Nice lookin'
Hope there's a bigger turn-out than last year. Just to be sure, this is NOT the location of last year, new place, correct?

Yes! Different location!
and I know for a fact there will be a much bigger turn out than last year! Justin at Porkchop BMX has done a fantastic job of helping get this show advertised!

Re: The 2nd Annual Coaster's Ham Jam Bicycle Show Marietta, GA
I'm getting frustrated as I am not going to finish anything new at the rate I am going. I may not even finish the Big Daddy unless the seat I just purchase flows like I want. Second guessing and stressing the details. Somehow I ended up with too much going on at once. I was hoping to at least have the Predator pit ready, but the weather has not been right for painting. I may at least have my first bike ready, but it is nothing special. So I am just going to take the time to apologize for not bringing my A or even my C game in advance.![]()

Cool... so what is it? And I only vaguely understand the drop outs.... rear are 14mm bolt type axle hubs? and front 3/8" bolt type axle hubs?
Gimmick or is there an advantage?

S&M WTF. Front and rear are 14mm for hubs with female axles. People say that female axle hubs are a bit lighter and stronger. But, when you don't really break stuff - just a cleaner look- no axle sticking out, no sliding it in the drop-outs, etc.

Hey all... I just got off the phone with old school guru and one of the top collectors in the world: Jeff Haney. He has agreed to be one of the judges for the BMX categories for the Ham Jam! What does this mean to you? It means the competition just got serious.... bring your A-game! Click the link for all the details on the show which is being held April 28th just outside of Atlanta.

Last year the judging panel was weak of judging the best bmx. I was the only one on the panal with knowledge of the vintage bmx bikes so it was tough picking the best by myself. This year it will be me, Justin (Porkchop), and Jeff. I believe that its going to work out just fine.

It was the only show I have went to and not won anything.
My fault as I didn't have anything worth showing as I was not finished with the Big Daddy. Looks like I am only bringing two to show, maybe three, and one to ride if I get bored of looking and talking.

Re: The 2nd Annual Coaster's Ham Jam Bicycle Show Marietta, GA
Tyler, that sounds backwards.
I'm trying to decide if I want to load up stuff or just bikes. Right now it is just bikes and nothing to sell. I am hoping my LBS can finish my wheels before the show as something always happens. I just found the rims and hubs for one bike I plan to show and hope they deliver in time to finish. I will pay if I end up trying to sell one of the bikes I bring to show.

We have a limited number of spots, maybe 25 total. If someone wants to be sure they have a spot then they prepay! ![]()
If not they take a chance of missing out on a spot.
