1999 Schwinn Powermatic Mag

This is the bike that got my BMX addiction started.

I had a customer who needed her water filter changed out,and this is what I got paid with. Since a water filter change is only about $35 I think I did pretty good. She said the bike had never been ridden. It is in mint condition. Typical story, bought it for her son, he wanted a car instead. So it sat in the basement for seven years. It has been a fun bike to get back on. A little heavy, but solid. The quality is well above a Target Schwinn, and has no kickstand mount. The dealer sticker is still on the frame. I originally had it listed as a 2000 model. It is a 1999 model. I didn't look at the cranks close enough. Since the mags wouldn't hold under braking I have replaced them with a set of Weinnman ZacX rims.
