1985 Schwinn Predator Streetwise

Finally obtained a Predator, not the one I had in mind but when I layed eyes on this beauty couldn't believe how original it was, how clean it is....this kid must have never attempted a jump, EVER.
Just check it out, the padset is amazing. perfect conservation.

yeah i e-mailed him last night and he e-mailed me today saying they were sold what in all did you get.

S&M red pedals, 3 frames new school mongooses and a Gary Fisher bmx frame, about 4 sets of bars and stems and brakes and pads it was decent score for 25 bucks but no screaming treasure find... I did better this weekend on ebay and with this schwinn score to be honest. The frames all have a bunch of stickers so I am not motivated to clean them up...I am sick today but maybe later this week I will post some of the stuff here for sale, if you want anything i post just let me know and you could pick it up instead of shipping....later bro.

I just brought this bike to the warehouse today it was in my garage and I don't like keeping bikes at my house...This thing is OG all original...I just wanted to give you fools one more chance to look at it in the forums if you have a nicer one i want to see....and YES that is a challenge!!!

If I walked into the bike store in 1985 this is exactly how they would have looked all propped up in the window or on the rack,dang guys I didn't like this bike at first but it is growing on me fast...I wish it was bigger so I could jam on it!

My grandfather got me this bike when I was but a wee boy of 10. I think he paid 215 dollars or something. It was the only bike with balls I ever had growin up and I rode that sucker for years. I'm sure most everyone can see how phat that thing would look moded up for a little racing. I think I lost it in storage... sighs.

Hi, I'm new to the forum and I just picked up a Predator just like this one. Mine is made in Taiwan as well, can you fill me in on why that is rare?

I just picked up a Streetwise...what kind of rims are those that have the colored inserts showing thru ? I believe mine are the wrong color for the bike & would like to get a set of blue ones if I can.

They are called prostrips i believe, ask hboost i think he will know or jkraig... this bike was like a time machine no parts had been modified or taken off down to the chainguard and reflectors. That is why I wish had not sold it now...
