This bike came from San Diego and is a very nice rust free example. Doesn`t look like this bike has ever been ridden in the rain. The chrome is flawless!

Kenda tires
Takagi cranks
Sugino chainwheel

Sounds really cool! Could mine be a Bonsai as well? Do you know where I might find decals?

Re: 1982 Cycle Pro Bonzai 24"

I'd bet that it is since I think that was the only model at that time? Others may be able to disprove or confirm! I will look into the decals for you! It will take me a bit but I am pretty sure that I can do it. The decals on mine are still all intact. I did mine in blue and chrome because the decals are blue. I will contact you as soon as I have the info!

it sure looks like a bonzai (and a real nice one too!)...I believe they had a headbadge instead of a head tube sticker....are there holes in the headtube where a badge may have been?

Any chance you would be up for a trade on this one?

Yeah it had the headtube badge. Sorry, but it was sold long ago. It had like an 18.5" TT. Way too small for me.

Re: 1982 Cycle Pro Bonzai 24"

This bike brings back memories! I raced one in the 80's In Adelaide Mine had Shimano DX 3pce cranks, Kos bars and it was great. I wonder where it is now? Great job on the resto!
