Keep this in your thoughts and think of ideas, but why don't we hold off on any serious plans until some time in March? By then it will be getting nicer and a few of us can get together and actually ride route and/or scope out some parks. I wish I had the room to host something at my place, but my yard is too small.

That sounds like a plan I'll be up for that. Good to see a lot of people responding keep it coming the more the merrie. It's really cool to see a huge pack of bmxer's rolling down the street.

I think we need to plan on a March date to ensure the weather is nice, but deconflict with the Cherry Blossoms if we're gonna roll through the mall.

March would be good hopefully the weather turns nicer by then or April. Some 70 degree days would be nice. Still need to get people together that want to plan out a route and such. I saw your avatar did you get a Phaze 1 24"?

My buddy went to DC on Saturday and he sends me this message yesterday:

I mapped a route and it says 17 miles lol. National Harbor across the Wilson bridge. Then through old town Alexandria past the airport and across the bridge into DC to the mall area and possibly down to the nationals stadium.

I told him 17 miles might be a little long if people are planning on bringing their families. I thought it was cool that he was working on a route though.

that's awesome. that's kind of the route I was thinking of or close to it but 17 miles? better mix in oxygen and a lot of beer stops.

This has been an easy Winter thus far...lets hope it holds up! I think March is a safe bet, and then we can do one in April, too!
