Cool. I was thinking about bringing my Morales BTS (AKA the Tank) this weekend. Just need to figure out how to set up the gyro. The upper cables are too long at the gyro.

You need a gyro xl for that don't you?
Funny you mention this. I just bought a prototype BTS frame (from 1996) from the guy that designed the Morales web site last Friday. This one was hanging on the wall in Bob Morales' office for years and he ended up just giving it to the Rick as a bonus for doing the web site.

Paulie you can count me in I'll ride with you bro for sure.

You can count on three more between me, the missus, and SOT.  I figure the 11-mile route (as opposed to the 24-mile version) is probably the way to go if we're all doing this on BMX bikes.

Chill, Hank.  I'm blessed.

In all honesty I have no idea. I normally take the gyro off and run one or two straight cables. The bike came with a regular gyro set up. I bought a new upper cable and a Odsy GTX-R gyro. But the upper cables are to long. I can cut them and use the knarps built into the gyro. But me being me, I want to try to figure out why it will not work properly the way it is. I will try to post a pic later.

Good grab on the frame!!!! I'm glad that it was bought locally. If you ever decide top get rid of it, let me know. I was eyeing it up also. But I just couldn't pull the trigger on it. I really want a Morales Flatty. It's one of my bucketlist bikes.

I'll put up a ride post if everyone agreed on I believe it was the 28th of April? Any of you boys free to ride next weekend since tomorrow is a wash? I can be free just about every weekend.

Does anyone remember if you could grill out at that park we met at ? I'm going to make a flyer/ web flyer and get a post going either by tomorrow night or Monday but most likely can get it done by tomorrow night. We are rolling with the April 28th!

Re: gauging interest on a Washington DC area ride and/or meet.

T-ball season has started. My son appears to have a game about every Saturday. Sundays would be better for me, but I can understand if everyone wants to do it on a Sat. I'll see what I can do about the 28th.

Dude you started this whole thing I don't care Sat or Sun if everyone's cool the 29th I'll do that . My only goal is to keep it all moving forward and make it happen. Obviously we can't please everyone but like I said you got this whole thing rolling.
