Re: gauging interest on a Washington DC area ride and/or meet.
Looks like a great time was had by all. I'll be keeping an eye out for next time.
The circus, incidentally, featured a number of bike themed acts, including bikes on the tightrope (which was freaking insane), and a new twist on the clown bike: instead of being clownishly small, it was clownishly huge, with enormous tires made from aircraft inner tubes. It is to the BMX bike what Big Foot is to the F-150. I would love to cruise the neighborhood on that thing. You could pretty much just roll over anything, and if you got it airborne ... oh, man.
Chill, Hank. I'm blessed.

I know somebody mentioned this before...
May 13th. Bike DC. We can get a group discount rate if we have 12 or more people registered...

So the ride is one Sunday (25th) or Saturday (24)? For some reason I had in my head that the ride was on Saturday.

I'll have to make sure I can go.
I don't know. I think my daughter might try to convince me to take her back to the track!

Re: gauging interest on a Washington DC area ride and/or meet.
Yeah that sucks this weekend looking like its shaping up to be a wash. I really just want to set this ride up our current route is good except where we cross the road up that hill but I think that's a solid route. I say we just roll with it I'll stop traffic if I have too so everyone gets across it really wasn't that bad.

It's only Tuesday. The forcast could be completely different by Friday.

Cool. I was thinking about bringing my Morales BTS (AKA the Tank) this weekend. Just need to figure out how to set up the gyro. The upper cables are too long at the gyro.

Re: gauging interest on a Washington DC area ride and/or meet.
Redline should be ready to ride with a little help from Steve and the gang, I got my brakes this week, just need to install and she should be good to go. I need a 22.2 layback post though if anyone has, LillaRe, bring that post! Seems the straight post makes it to small to ride:/....Feels alittle cramped:(.... I guess that extra 2 inches makes a big difference.
