Re: 1982 Diamond Back Senior Pro

I wish I could keep them all! Thanks for the Feedback, I had fun building it. This is what I remember Diamondbacks looking like in our neighborhood back in the day!!!! The chrome gleamed, ano parts everywhere, Cal Lites and 3 piece cranks...I had to build one!

I have a handful of the chain protectors still NOS in the bag... I was starting to think no one else remembered these things, I knew guys that had them in the 80's and always thought they were kinda cool.
Thanks,
Bri

Re: 1982 Diamond Back Senior Pro

WOW, great looking Bike. The color scheme is well balanced. You did a great job restoring it. Do you have any pic of what it looked like before you re did it?
.Forgot to mention the chainguard.. I forgot about those until I saw it. I had black one on my DB back in 83, although it did last long, but it was cool when they first came out.

Re: 1982 Diamond Back Senior Pro

I sooo want one of these. I have a line on one locally but he is hesitant to give it up.

El Torreon Bike Swap Meet, July 27th 2014, Kansas City Mo. See events page for my post with details!

I get this question often so here it is to save everyone time. I do not have any Mongoose DMC decals left. I was lucky enough to find a small bunch of NOS decal sets in an old bike shop that no longer exists and I have since sold them all. Sorry. I wish you all the best of luck with your DMC builds.

Re: 1982 Diamond Back Senior Pro

Very nice DB cool

Looks just like the one I owned and raced, including the chain guard tongue
