1977 Cycle Pro Foiler

Rare mint gold frame from Dan G's stash

Got this while checking out an OG collectors vault. I built it with parts laying around the house.

Re: 1977 Cycle Pro Foiler

Wow, a gold Foiler, that's pretty cool and rare. I've got the blue one posted next to yours. I have another Foiler frame and original stickers I was going to have painted gold and build up similar to yours. Love the gold Tuff Neck. Thanks for putting it on line for others to enjoy. These are getting to be pretty rare artifacts. I wouldn't be surprised if there's under a dozen in tact Foilers left in the US. Cheers to these amazing rides that sparked so much love for amazing bikes that continues today. For me, its now all about mountain biking but this is where it started. Love them amazing wields.

Re: 1977 Cycle Pro Foiler

FYI: I've got a Cycle Pro Foiler frame and original stickers I was going to build up gold like yours though may not have the time to devote to this project for awhile. If ya here of anyone who would like a project I could let the frame and sticker go for a fair price. The frame is in great shape though has had a re-wield of the top part of the top tube though it's functional. It probably wouldn't be too noticable with paint, or, it could be made perfect my any machinest or welder worth his salt. My e-mail address is Scott2221@comcast.net. Great bike man, thanks again for posting this rare beauty.
