Re: How many of you "dudes" rode pink bikes?
I still would never be able to ride a pink bike. Maybe its because I don't have the skills to back it up. Even my baby blue 87 PFT I gave to my wife to ride. ![]()

Re: How many of you "dudes" rode pink bikes?
I found a very abandoned Dyno ('86-ish) that looked like faded pink. Rode it and loved it, but now that I realize they came in orange as well, I'm not sure just what color it was, originally. I was REALLY faded.

Pink parts on my Haro! Many people laughed but they were riding a huffy and just didn't know any better.

Re: How many of you "dudes" rode pink bikes?
never rode a pink bike in my life till about last year I got a California pink 86 performer.
BITD I did asked my mom once when I was 12 years old, I said to my mom I want that pink GT like my neighbor has. My mom shouted "what did your older brother has done to you? did he hit your head hard?" I told my mom no my brother has nothing to do with it, I just want that cool bike that all. my mom said OK alright, but we will never speak of that again, no son of mine ride a sissy pink bike period.
Build it, Ride it and Break it. That what it was made for.
WANTED: nothing for now

Riding like that, chromey, you could get away with being on a "My Little Pony" Big Wheel.

total frankenstein levers. When I was building the bike - I kept digging through my box 'o random lever parts and remembered a friend of mine used to run a tech 4 in a 77 clamp and it worked well, still does. But yeah, I won't lie.... it's ugly.
