are the sunday pro completes the same frame as the frames sold on Dan's or Albe's? I have heard the frames are different, ie. different material, construction. The completes are a good deal, and have been thinking about getting one.
The frames on the completes are different, even though they are chromoly, they are not heat treated. The highend frames that are sold by themselves are 41 heat treated, same goes for their forks and handlebars.
Also, I believe some tubes (like the seat mast) are hi-ten steel. There is a Pro model that should be 41Therm heat treated cr-mo like the seperates, but not a 100% sure. They do have the WAVE C now which looks pretty cool and some new 24" forks with 990 mounts built in!
I do recall there being a pro model that used all 41 thermal tubing including forks and bars, but it was real limited and really expensive, for the price of that model, you could just build yor own custom Sunday.

Re: Sunday Bike Thread! Post em if you got em!
The only Sunday complete that uses an aftermarket frame is this years Special Forecaster:
http://www.sundaybikes.com/catalog/comp … orecaster/
And at just under $1000, it's still cheaper than what you'd build the same bike up for.
All other Sunday completes use frames that are not the same as the aftermarket equivalent. The completes are not 41 Thermal Heat treated nor (in the case of the Fundays) do they have the same features such as the hollow dropouts w/ built-in chain tensioners.
Still the best completes on the market in my opinion though.

Those wheels alone would cost @500 bucks. Then a $400 frame by itself. Sunday completes are a super bargain with those Odyssey parts.

dpercival - your orange Sunday made my day.
If I were to acquire a new school bike, hands down it would be a Sunday. One of the few new school rides (maybe the only) that have quality, style and flair. ![]()
