1998 S&M War Pig
1998 S&M War Pig
Weighing in at 30.4 pounds...my War Pig!
This bike started its life as just a frame that was given to me by my co-worker after I told him I wanted to get back into riding bikes. After some research on this website, I found out what it was and went to work finding parts. I wanted to build something clean so I had the frame re-finished and cleaned up like new. The Pitchforks and the Castillo bars were also re-finished like new. Everything else on this bike is pretty much new school parts...tried to maintain an olive green theme on this build, still thinking of changing some colors here and there but then again I feel like it looks pretty good as is.
UPDATE: JAN 2012, so I got bored and decided to change out the wheels/tires and chainwheel...here is the end result. I feel like it's finished now...just needs decals...ugh.
UPDATE: JAN 2013, got the Warpig re-issue decals! Changed out some stuff here and there...

Re: 1998 S&M War Pig
that is a beauty of a pig!
you restored it quite nicely and definitely found the right parts.
Yes I will ship to Australia! Always open to Trades.
I ride my bike 6 miles 2 times per day every day.
If I have something I am probably interested in buying another.

Here's what it looks like now...me thinks I've spent enough money and time on her so she'll live out her years like this.

Good job on the respray man. I had the bare metal version and sprayed it green but it just wasn't the same. This would look sweet with the original stickers!

Wow, that's actually a pretty light weight Pig you got there man. I'm feeling it!
I'm planning on building mine up in a similar way, some new school parts for a "lighter" bike, but keeping the old school look of it.
Currently looking for any parts for my Warpig.
Offer up!

Let me know how it turns out!!
yea originally I had a lot more new school stuff on there but over time started replacing them with more era-correct stuff. Just the color scheme I was going for forced me to get SConspiracy stuff...![]()
