1978 Takara Outlaw
1978 Takara Outlaw
ebay buy. never heard of this brand and after doing research i figured it was worth grabbing......8 months later!
NOW its finished. a true TRUCK! (what we used to call bikes we just thru together).this is the frame i was looking to put these parts on. forks are from my 96 diamond back with brake bosses cut off. CW bars from my daughters Z1500 with Oury grips. ACS stem stamped 86 on the bottom.Tange super cross headset, Tuff Neck seat post clamp. 13/16" layback from porkchop bmx.biult up with a soda can shim til I find a real one. Dia compe tech 3 03/83 lever and Dia compe 890 06/83 break. Dia compe cable clips holding down seethru blue cable. Campy crank set w/52t campy chainwheel. Campy european bottom bracket. KKT platform pedals. Sun Mistral Crome 1 3/8's laced to Campy Record quick release hubs. KMC 410 chain, a very smooth ride indeed. On Maxxis Holy Rollers. I guess that's that. All to be done now is a proper paint job and maintenance.
