SKYWAYs NEW BIKE; Wa wa?

O.K. Guys. It's time to let the cat out of the bag.
Spoke with Bart Weems way back earlier this year about more OLD SCHOOL COLORS and the British bikes from ROOSTER with SKYWAY WHEELS.
He said he didn't know much about them but that; and I quote-
"Oh, we're going to be making bikes again"...I said, "Say what? For real?" (Bart) "Yea, yea". If it don't happen, don't blame me but that's what the man told me for real!!! I wouldn't make this s**t up. Keep your fingers crossed and bug Ed at coloered tuffs a bunch and maybe they'll go through with it. Love to see a new STREETBEAT or that fabled mid range bike that they said would be like a T/A with a Haro Sport type smaller frame platform. Maybe they'll call it the SKYWAY STREETHAWK;) If they do, don't ya'll forget who said it first. Cheers and God Bless.

Re: SKYWAYs NEW BIKE; Wa wa?

Well by the sound of the conversation with Bart(Weems) and the fact that I was talking about British BMX bikes, sure sounded like he was leaning towards 20" BMX. God Willing. It's over due.cool

Re: SKYWAYs NEW BIKE; Wa wa?

Guys, there are many different Skyway projects in the works.  All for 2012 release. Some items are still in development stage, and some are already in prototype stages. Ken Coster, the President of Skyway, has asked all of us involved to not release any info to the public until prototypes are tested and pass all of the QC processes.
When we finally announce what we are doing, we will be backing it all up with photos of the actual products, instead of just talk! Hang in there. I will have the very first of these items in hand, for testing, within a month! Once we know that all of our planning, and design is correct, we will share it here on BMXMuseum first. That is a promise!
So.... Hang in there. And start saving! We are planning on blowing your minds in January 2012! (but I expect to show you guys some of this stuff in December!)

Heck Yeah....!
And as I mentioned in a earlier post.... if you join us on a St Augustine BMX Black Widows ride next month, you'll be able to see and try it out too!  But only after you sign a form stating that you'll be hush about it!  LOL....

Yeah, I really want a TA, but I have concluded 20"s just aint for me.  But I'll be damned if I won't sell my kidney on the black market to get a 24" TA.

Hey Ed you want to buy a kidney?
