1977 JMC short frame and fork
This is a 1977 JMC frame with the serial number JMC124. From James Melton's records, this frame was shipped in March 1978 most likely with the fork. Parts in this build include:

YST blue headset
Redline v-bars
Redline brute neck
Oakley 1s, with the spinning wheel
Cook Bros 176mm cranks
Suntour European bottom bracket
Cook Bros repo seat post clamp
Araya 1 3/8" chrome hoops
Tioga comp 3's 1 3/8 tires
Schwinn Campagnolo style hubs
Stainless steel spokes and nipples.
Weinmann brakes and lever
Suntour freewheel.
Addicks 43 chain ring
HTI A4 peddles
Repo ABA number plate
And of course, an original Evel Knievel seat!

Just had an email exchange with Jim Melton and he rechecked his books, and found this is a 77 frame, but was not shipped until 3/15/78. He is going to send me a new certificate with the right date on it. Truly an awesome guy.
