1983 National Pro Standard
1983 National Pro Standard
A classic 80's race machine.
Saw the frame on ebay in Switzerland last year.
A few month previous i had been chatting to a buddy of mine and fellow national pro owner Rooski.
He has owned his since childhood and had mentioned to me that years previous he had sourced a spare set of forks as a just in case measure. Anyway he wasn't riding his anymore so when i saw the frame up for sale i contacted him to see if he would let the forks go.
He agreed and i got hold of the frame....happy days.
Only in the last few week though i have managed to source the bars.
The bike came runner up in race bike category at the UK'S annual BMX event at Milton Keynes in july, at the time it was sporting Gt expert bars. Now though with the arrival of the pro neck bars i took the bike out to Peel Park, Bradford BMX Track to get some pics in the natural habitat.
(Check out the rest of the photo's in the link)
