1997 S&M DIRTBIKE

Next Gen Dirtbike in all it's long tail, giant drop-out, tank-like glory... Was dumpster grey when I got it, decided to raw it and put it together for a buddy of mine to use dirt jumping down at Sheep

I picked this up along with a few other frame sets from a local dirt-jump mountain bike guy. Originally dumpster grey, but I decided to try out the raw metal Tri-flow lover's scene...
The head tube decal was on upside down in an homage to his enjoyment of backflips. I put it together with a set of standard pitch forks, Odyessy Hazard rims and hubs, XLT Bars, red neck XT stem, some hecho en chino chranks a Kink 44t sprocket and a GT "Corporate Anarchy" seat. Mostly just layin' around stuff, I had. One weird thing... the serial number is on the bottom bracket shell rather than the dropout. But that's S&M for ya... Always keep 'em guessing!
Built it for a buddy of mine who helped get me into skateboarding. I returned the favor and got him into BMX.
