I went to Ohio State back in 1997-1999 and there was nowhere to skate or even ride bmx except for Dodge Skate Park...now there's Powell , Dublin , Deleware , Grove City , etc...so rad .

If you go north on that trail, just past 161, there is actually a skatepark right there on the trail. I've seen guys on bikes doing stuff before. The skaters don't seem to mind. It's not as big as powell, but cool none-the-less.

I might be in for Sunday but no way in hell am I riding my bmx for 30 miles. yeah, i'll be the pu$$y...

time?

Last weekend we started at 10 a.m.

I think 9-10 would be a good starting time..We can either meet at my house,which is in German Village area,or Scioto Audobahn Metro Park?

They have Rangers CONSTANTLY cruising around that park,so if we end up meeting there,your vehicle will be safe..If we end up parking at my house,I have surveillance..

BTW,nobody will look at you funny for not wanting to go 30 miles..We're not doing that much of a trip,but I would like to make it to the Hudson/Neil area and check out the jumps in the woods.. I'm definitely not a high flyer,so no need to feel like you'll be outdone...I can't ride ramps worth a sh|t..

In all honesty,DropD was waiting for me to call for the turn around spot,and I was looking for him to tap out..Needless to say,we went a little far on that ride,and would like to keep it within 20 miles until we get our conditioning up..I'm selling out and buying a Hybrid to go trail riding in the future,although I love my BMX,it definitely is not the most comfortable bike to ride for 4+ hrs..lol..I will have my cruiser up and running this weekend I HOPE..(pray,wish,DEMAND!!!!!)

I needed a good laugh today and looking at the pics (the bike stand/humping) one gave that to me. Has anyone heard anything about a show at the park this year? Too early ? I didn't get to the one last year and about 4 - 6 of us want to make sure we don't miss it so if you hear something let us know please.

I've been wondering about it too. I can't remember who organized it. Was it bmxbri? I feel like we heard about it by this time last year.

John of Fix My Rig helped out with the prizes and such...I forget who exactly put it together..But,I know a few of the staff members of Cobra(heer park),and as soon as I hear something I will let you all know..

I would love to ride downtown, but I sold all of my rides - expecting the Skyway TA 24" project to be done by now .

I use to work down in the short north and use to ride downtown at lunch. There are so many awesome jump spots in the city. Enjoy fellows.

A little over 29 miles,and I cut over an hour off my time...I got my cruiser together,so no 20 in for me this trip...That and gloves makes ALL the difference..
