Here are some pics of our last ride...30 miles on a 20in...Raaaawr!(beastly) But yeh,I think I almost died..lol..There's a spot back in the woods off Neil ave,so I figured I'd stop and show it to DropDDime while we was out and about..Hope you guys enjoy the pics..Usually this thing is meticulously cared for..Looks like the guys down there are slacking a little..Usually there are crisp edges,and no ruts..Almost looks like they made it out of concrete,and covered it over with some dirt..But,it's all clay..Lots of work went into these jumps,and props to any and all that has cared for it..

No matter what the guy says,HE WAS NOT TAKING A PISS...He told me to take this pic for some reason,so I did..He can tell the story behind it..LOL

Are you telling me that you ride 30 miles on a bmx bike?

When you guys ride downtown, are you just riding all around, doing tricks and stuff like that??

Is this the spot off that paved trail, close to the Olentangy River? I'm pretty sure this is where I broke my collar bone back in 94' (mountain bike though).

No,we usually ride the Scioto Mile trail...And yeh,30 miles on a 20in BMX...

This spot is off of Neil Ave,close to Hudson...From what I heard it's been there for quite a while,so you might have ridden it...

yep, that's it. pancaked my bike and came down on my collar bone. rode it one handed to osu hospital. i am for sure heading back down there again. thanks for the pics.

Sorry, I'm a moron....but, is this the trail that goes past Antrim lake, runs kind of along 315, past Whetstone highschool, etc?

30 miles is impressive. That's a good ride on a road bike let alone a 20inch bmx.

Yes thats the trail . We rode just past Antrim lake and turned around . Im not sure about doing 30 miles again . As far as doing tricks along the way i thought would be best to wait until we got back into the downtown area incase we broke something and needed to jump on a COTA . However couldnt resist the dirt jumps and twisted my knee a bit and was definitly feeling it the last 10 miles .

Im thinking July 8th would be a good time to do a ride . Anyone else interested ?

Pffft,don't know about you,but I'll be back out on the Scioto Mile this weekend...Sundays are my days to ride..

By the way,hope you're knee is feeling better bro..You need to get it ready for another 30!

But seriously,you can join up when you want,and depart whenever..Trust me,after that 30 mile ride,I will not be judging ANYONE..I still don't feel 100% 2 days later..

I think a Clevo/Cincy/C-Bus meet & ride would be so rad .

I went to Ohio State back in 1997-1999 and there was nowhere to skate or even ride bmx except for Dodge Skate Park...now there's Powell , Dublin , Deleware , Grove City , etc...so rad .
