This is an old Project of mine to create a rider's club in the Florida State (More particularly for the South Florida region) but as an open group with the intention to expand in chapters Nationwide (Like other popular rides which for me and a few others are unfortunately way up North to make it into a regular activity).

The Club intention is to have monthly events such a weekly/bi-weekly rides, Street and Park trick practices and maybe even a yearly gathering.

SO....
If you are located in the South Florida area (25 miles from Miami Dade County),
If you are riding a BMX bike in regular basis (Or want to do so),
If you want to help create a new rider's club....

We WANT You!!!

Agreed, But I have yet to see ONE single event to be made by the Black Widows in our area...
The idea is to make a Rider's Club (Black Widows are first to be welcomed).

First CLUB Meeting and registration will be held on Saturday October 8th, 2011
Location: BMX Addicts Mini Skate Park Venue
Westwind Lakes Park
6805 SW 152 Avenue, Miami, FL 33193
Time: 11:00am

This is an informal event, feel free to bring your rider bike.
Club Membership goodie bag with T Shirt and decals will be available on location.

Note: BMX Addicts Mini Skate park (Was Donated To The City hall) has a nominal access fee of $ 4.00 per person and use of Helmet is mandatory (Helmet Rental Included, Only $ 2.00 to ride).

Im game but weekly and bi weekly will not work now that im over a hour away and have a crazy 18 month old that dont allow me to do much of squat ...
Unless you set up rides in Broward and Palm Beach ...That would round up alot more of us up north on a weekly/bi weekly rides

Yes Chuck, I understand, Bi Weekly ride having to travel from Lake Worth is kind of pushing the issue... it may even be so living right here in Miami!!!
The main goal now is to get a hand full of locals to start riding and grow from there (Who knows, maybe get to a point where we can expand it outside FL).

Once we have organized a few members, we would start attending all the FL events as a club; as far as immediate plans goes, T Shirts, Decals and a club web site is already in progress...

Let's see how it works.

Yes Bud, we would love to have you riding with us (we could spend a good laugh talking about all the stuff we share online)...

Defenatly count me in! We should also try to make the Critical Mass rides as a BMX group! I have been going every month and only seen a few BMX riders...

Either way I am very happy to see this event planned Juan, great idea see you all Oct 8th
