Re: >> How about a BEFORE & AFTER Thread ?
Okay, I just posted it elsewhere, but it's relevant here too, so why not show it off!
1991 Redline 720... before and after. Not quite done, but pretty close... needs new sprocket and #plate.

WTB: Nothing, unless it's a real cheap local survivor score!
"BICYCLING DON'TS: Stunting, doing wheelies, or 'dirt biking' places stresses on bicycles far above design intentions.
Damage such as broken welds, bent forks, and 'flat spots' on rims will result" -- Breaking all the bicycling rules since 1977.

Re: >> How about a BEFORE & AFTER Thread ?
I wanna play
my gt the day I pulled it out from behind my moms shed
cleaned, polished and stickered
now with pads!!!!!
I have been ridding the crap out of it, I need to get it cleaned up and get some good pictures of it with the pads but you get the idea
my brothers goose, pulled from behind moms shed one the same day
and almost done, it was pretty bad so we built the bike my parents wouldn't when he was a kid, no more coaster breaks for him!!!!!
its done now it has the original "wrong" fork decals and mongoose grips, but my GT still rides better and is still faster ![]()

How about we have a before & after thread? You can show your bike going from project to show winner, or a resurrected survivor. C\'mon, if ya got\'em post\'em up!
Here\'s a pic of my \'86 Pro Performer as I got it, then after I cleaned it up and added new grips and tires. All I need now is a lower Gyro cable. The whole bike was completely disassembled, cleaned and re-greased.
