1985 Hutch Trick Star
1985 Hutch Trick Star
One of my dream bikes as a 12 year old. Been waiting a LONG time for this...
What's to say? It's a beauty!
Here's the breakdown:
American made frame & forks, chrome Mike Dominguez ladder bars, NOS Dia Compe Tech 77 Levers with locking button, NOS white Gyro cables, A'ME Tri-grips, GT Block stem (SR made, the good one), white gyro, Tioga headset, Dia Compe Nippon calipers, NOS freestyle Tuff pads, ACS True 100 psi tires, Pro class 48s with rear RL hub (RARE), MKS graphite pedals, Hutch spider, cro-mo cranks, NOS Izumi chain, rear GT pegs, NOS Trick top II seat, Hutch stamped seat clamp (not the HI-CALIBER junk).

Great looking Hutch - I remember seeing your post about having made the purchase (from Bronxstyler). Looks fantastic (but let's see a pic of that rare RL hub)!

Re: 1985 Hutch Trick Star
You know what I like about this bike? The grip tape on the pegs. That's some old school shi$. The only thing missing is tape across the top tube and some scars. I like it.

Re: 1985 Hutch Trick Star
Nice Hutch!
I can not remember, what was the function of the RL hub, was it the hub that let the bike roll backwards and the pedals would not move?
I have the hub too, with no gear that I am going to build. I noticed, compared to a Peregrine high flange hub, it is larger in diameter. Can you (or someone) measure the size spokes on the rear wheel?
I got the RL Edge hops too ![]()
