Re: 1982 GJS

Thanks guys! This was my first build since discovering the Old School BMX scene last year, and I had a lot of fun building it up. Nothing like the sweet ride of a finely-tuned old school chromoly BMX bike -they certainly don't make them like they used to...
On a personal note, I'd like to thank Gary here at BMX Museum for the Haro Flo Panel. While on a tour of the BMX Museum in Portland last August, I spotted it and he graciously passed it on to me. Thanks again bro!

Re: 1982 GJS

The finish on this frame is almost beyond belief. And the parts package Abomb assembled for it is really cool. Definitely one of my favorite builds of the year.

Re: 1982 GJS

So much attention to every detail.... I will try to build to your standards from here on out! it is just amazing down to the seatclamp, when I see the clamp I just can't believe it. This has got to be rarest build or at least top ten of this year?

Re: 1982 GJS

Thanks everyone for the cool comments. This was my maiden build since rediscovering BMX and the Vintage scene 1 1/2 years ago. As someone who really believes you have to ride these old school bikes to truly appreciate the craftsmanship, I enjoy riding ALL of mine. That being said, the GJS won't be flying over a set of doubles or triples any time soon!!

Re: 1982 GJS

that is sick....be careful of those a-frame stands, they will indent the powder or sticker if stored for a long time....i found out the hard way....

Re: 1982 GJS

That bike is Awesome!!!!! A friend of mine had a chrome GJS with red tuffs. I'm going to call him to see if he still has the bike, so I can add it to my many projects I'm working on.
